We take immense pride in congratulating IPMA's member Grundfos for initiating a project towards a social responsibility. A joint activity with 'Sankalp Rural Development Society", Grundfos is working in the field of 'Borewell Recharge Project in India on the occasion of the "World Water Day" being celebrated on March 22 , every year.  

World Water Day 2022 is observed to focus on the judicious use of freshwater ecosystems. This year’s theme ‘Groundwater - Making the Invisible Visible’ highlights the need to protect this vital resource from being overexploited.  Groundwater is invisible but its impact is visible everywhere.  An increasing number of aquifers in India are reaching unsustainable levels of exploitation. If current trends continue, in 20 years about 60% of aquifers across India will be in a critical condition says a World Bank report.   We cannot ignore the significance of groundwater for the very existence of human society. It is our responsibility solely to preserve it. Let's join our hands and prevent the depletion of this water source, now.
